Pick-Me-Up Pendants
Mood Boosting Jewels
Our latest collection of three thoughtful
pendants designed to spark joy.

Once the pandemic hit, Jenny wanted to design pieces that incorporated memories of her own childhood—mementos that helped spark joy in her own life, too. The inspiration behind the collection was to design pieces that acted as signifiers and tokens of good luck. So she drew upon specific memories that stood out to her—moments in her life that sparked happy memories, such as western horseback riding and Floridian beach walks with her mother.
The Horseshoe

The Horseshoe
This newest collection, which is available to shop now is anchored around a horseshoe pendant. “This shape has been a good omen to me my whole life,” says Jenny. Growing up on a sleepy farm in Elora, Ontario, Jenny always dreamed of owning her own horse. Determined, she saved up all of her money (and with a little help from her parents), and was able to buy a sweet, chubby white horse, and named Sir. Throughout her life, horseshoes popped up in unexpected places at serendipitous times, proving to be constant symbols of good things to come. The horseshoe charm is equal parts sturdy and delicate, with a stunning curved shape that would look excellent on its own or styled alongside other necklaces.

The SAND DOLLAR
The sand dollar
The second pendant in the collection is a sand dollar, embossed with delicate, feminine flecks and the sweetest star shape. “Growing up, my Mom always told me that finding a sand dollar on the beach was super lucky,” she says. Jenny and her Mom (who Jenny calls a beach walker and a shell collector) spent hours on the beach in Florida, combing through sand in search of the elusive sand dollar. The ones Jenny collected on those holidays now live on her at-home meditation altar. “Some call them mermaid coils, I think of them as coins of the sea,” she says. These ultra special shapes were an obvious choice to include in a collection designed to bring cheer.

THE MINI MITHRAS
And lastly, the mini Mithras pendant rounds out this joyful collection. This sweet, organically-shaped nugget which was shaped by hand using clay that is oh so satisfying to touch—and admire. With a smooth and gently curved surface, this is an everyday piece that pairs beautifully with any style of jewelry. Jenny says that taking a moment to touch the piece can conjure up soothing, calming and centering thoughts—just the mindful moment we all need these days.
We truly hope that this collection lifts up your mood—or that of your loved ones—and picks you up during a time when it's needed most. Let us know how you incorporate these pieces in your jewelry wardrobe, and if they bring you the joy they brought Jenny when she was designing them.
